Becky & Brian's Wedding: Falmouth Yacht Club
It was at times drizzly, and at times a pouring afternoon, but it didn't put a damper on Becky and Brian's wedding day! When I initially met Brian and Becky in my studio when they interviewed me for their wedding, I just felt that we really clicked. We enjoyed a glass of wine and some apps and talked about their wedding day, the people we knew, the fact they live a mile away and we've never crossed paths... I was really happy to be asked to photograph their wedding following our meeting.
I met up with the bride and her maids at her house while my assistant Kelly Hike (check out her website here) met up with Brian and the guys.

The groom and groomsmen along with Kelly took did a wee bit of yachting around the harbor before the big event.
Just before the ceremony, I got a chance to meet the guys.
Earlier in the day the decision had been made to hold the ceremony outside in spite of the inclement weather. Thankfully, it was just slightly drizzling for the oceanside ceremony. Becky is just beaming with excitement as she walks down the aisle! Love that!
And so happy to see Brian awaiting at the end of the aisle, gives him a smooch!

I can't really pinpoint why I selected this one when there were so many good ones to choose from. I think I just love the genuine happiness I see in Rebecca's face and of course, I always love the candid shots more than the posed ones.
