Easter 2008

Yesterday we enjoyed a great Easter at my sister Erin's. The kids had a ball hunting for Easter eggs, eating their candy, and playing Wii. The rest of us enjoyed great food, drinks...and playing Wii. Mom, Dad, Kerri and family were missed and I was sad to leave Andrew and Quinn at home who sick with a fever. Quinn was thankfully in good spirits though. When I told him he would not be able to join us for the Easter celebration that he had been talking about for weeks he said, "That's OK, there's always next year!"

Sara and Aidan's wedding Las Vegas

Recently, we were lucky enough to attend Sara and Aidan's wedding in Las Vegas (yeah, baby!). We had a fantastic time at the Bellagio hotel drinking mango smoothies by the pool, winning (and losing) at the tables, seeing old friends, making new ones and of course, being there for the wedding festivities!

Although I was tempted to put the slideshow to Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" (those of you who attended will get that), I just couldn't stand to listen to it over and over as I edited the show.

Thanks Sara and Aidan for a wonderful time! Enjoy!

It's been a while since I've sent pictures of my kids and they've grown so much (Quinn turned 6 a couple weeks ago!) - so, I thought I'd test out my new blog and some new slideshow software and give you a peep into our day as I followed my kids around with my camera practicing some new techniques I learned at a recent seminar.

As you may notice, Lainey is the star of the show. This is not only because of her sheer cuteness at 19 months, but because she hasn't learned to run from the camera like the boys do (it was also because Quinn was in school most of the day and Jack was napping). When she did try to run from the camera, I photographed her in her crib (this the crazy hair). When I tried to tame her hair with a bow, she wasn't too pleased (as you will see). It was easiest to capture her at lunchtime when she was strapped into her highchair - she's a little messy, but pretty adorable anyway!
